SYMPTOM(s):
The oibroker process is shutdown.
_prooidv processes are left orphaned on the system.
CAUSE:
The Prooibk is not responsible for shutting down the prooidv processes. The prooidv processes are shutdown when the client connections are terminated correctly. If the SQL89 application or client does not issue a proper shutdown then the prooidv processes will not be shutdown. If the Prooibk is being shutdown while there are sql89 client connections then these connections will be terminated abnormally and the prooidv processes will linger on the system.
FIX:
Issue an Operating System kill to the orphaned _prooidv processes.
