GOAL:
Is the -Wa -wpp a valid pair of parameters in version 9 ?
GOAL:
Can I use -Wa -wpp parameters in Progress version 9 ?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.X
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
FIX:
Yes, these two parameters are still valid. They must be used on the command line when launching a Progress client. The two parameters should be in the order -Wa -wpp and should be the last two parameters on the command line.
The -Wa is a signal to the operating system that a Windows Attribute is about to be passed.
The -wpp is the Windows Attribute to use Windows Pass-Thru Printing mode to bypass the print spooler.
