SYMPTOM(s):
WebSpeed welcome page in Workshop is not visible
Some images within Workshop are not visible
Webspeed31x virtual directory is pointing to only the %DLC% directory
FACT(s) (Environment):
IIS
Windows
WebSpeed 3.1x
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
Webspeed31x virtual directory is pointing to %DLC%, when it should be referencing the Webspeed subfolder under %DLC%.
FIX:
Make sure that the "Local Path" of the Webspeed31X/webspeed100X/webspeed101X Virtual Ddirectory is pointing to the Progress installation directory\webspeed. For instance, if Progress or OE is installed on C:\progress then the virtual directory on the web site should be pointing to C:\Progress\webspeed.
1. Open IIS
2. Right click on the properties of the Virtual Directory
3. Go under the Virtual Directory tab
4. Define the actual directory under Local Path
5. Restart the web server
