Progress 8.3C was the first version 8.x product to be certified on SUN Solaris 8. Progress versions 8.3D and 8.3E will also run on SUN Solaris 8. Any Progress 8.3x versions lower then 8.3C have not been certified to run on SUN Solaris 8.
