Memory error 49 with Solaris 2.4

If you experience a System Error: Memory violation (49) while you
are attempting to run PROGRESS using the -H <hostname> -S <service>
start up parameters on Solaris 2.4, you need to rebuild new PROGRESS
executables to resolve the problem.

This problem occurs because you are running a release of PROGRESS that
was not certified or tested on the Solaris 2.4 operating system
release.

Three executables need to be rebuilt.

PROGRESS client, executable name _progres (char) or _promtf (gui)
PROGRESS database server, executable name _mprosrv
PROGRESS proshut, executable name _mprshut

Use the probuild utility to create link scripts, then run the link
scripts to create the executables. Remember to change the owner to
root and the permissions to -rwsr-xr-x (chmod 4755).

PROGRESS is currently certified on Solaris 2.4 for 6.3Fxx and 7.3Dxx.
