Status: Unverified
SYMPTOM(s):
Extent <file-name> has a different last opened date <timestamp>, (9213)
Extent <dbname_M.dN> has a different last opened date <timeX1>, (9213)
Error 9213 when starting DB Broker (on production database)
SYSTEM ERROR: Physical redo, BKUPDCTR=<number>, note updctr=<number>. (1028)
S/E 1028 when rollforwarding AI extent generated after <timeX1> (on backup)
CHANGE:
ONE KNOWN CASE: The process having accessed the extent was a "prostrct repair" run on the backup database (mirrored database), while the .st file had the location of <dbname_M.dN> for the production database.
CAUSE:
The database extent <dbname_M.dN> has been accessed by a process (Progress or none-Progress) out of the control of the Database Broker running at the time (Broker started prior to timeX1) on the production database.
FIX:
Restore backup and roll-forward AI extent(s) up to time <timeX1> minus 1 second.
