SYMPTOM(s):
Using a script to start the database
Users are disconnected.
Unable to open or create srtaxxxxx, error 13. (354)
BROKER detects death of server <pid>. (1153)
FACT(s) (Environment):

CAUSE:
The problem occurs when the databases are started from root instead of the application directory or the db directory. The directory the server is writing srt files to does not allow it permission to write.
FIX:
1. Change the startup scripts to cd to the database directory.
2. Also, it is possible to work around the problem with an index that was built into the db instead of doing any sorting on the server.
