SYMPTOM(s):
Problem stopping 8.3A ProControl, 'cannot communicate with Proservice (1231)'
Error: 'Cannot communicate with Proservice, error 51 (1231)'
This happens only on a HP Laptop with Intelpro 100 VE network card (contains some kind of Firewall).
Problem only occurs when cable is not connected physically to a network.
Apparently only a problem on laptops with XP OR win 2000 installed AND no cable connected to a network.
CAUSE:
Netbui is not installed
FIX:
Install netbui
