Are there advantages and disadvantages to leaving UNIX bi extents that were added during the application of definitions?
FACT(s) (Environment):

FIX:
If the bi extents are no longer necessary, disk space will be wasted. Also, they will require more file descriptors depending upon the number of users because they all open the database or attach to open files via the inode table.
An advantage is that the extents will not have to be readded if the application of definitions is done in the future.
