FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
This module does not support database type ODBC (1416)
CHANGE:
Upgraded from Progress ODBC DataServer 9.0B to ODBC DataServer 9.1A
CAUSE:
Converse to Progress 9.0B, Progress 9.1A no longer supports ODBC Dataserver on UNIX. In Progress 9.1A, this product has been discontinued and is only available on NT. Also, UNIX clients can not connect to an ODBC DataServer on NT as this functionality is unsupported.
FIX:
UNIX client support is available for some 9.1A patched UNIX platforms. This Progress 9.1A patch version contains server functionality and is only available for platforms; (Solaris, HP, AIX). Other platforms do not have ODBC suppport.
The remote odbc client executable was introduced on the following 9.1A patches:
HPUX 11 - 9.1A13
Sun Solaris - 9.1A13
IBM AIX - 9.1A16
