FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
SYMPTOM(s):
Getting "file not found error".
Can not run the 8.3 dbutils supplied with the V9 installation.
Multiple versions (V8 and V9) of Progress are installed on the same machine.
CAUSE:
Windows can not find the specific Progress executables.
FIX:
Set the DLC environment variable to the DLC directory of the Progress version you are running the executables from.
1) Right click on "My Computer
2) Advanced Tab
3) Under "System Variables" add or edit the DLC variable value. Set it to the Progress DLC directory of the Progress version you are running the executables from.
