CAUSE:
The (514) mesage points to previous corruption in Version 8 from terminating abnormally whilst using the (-r) non-raw parameter.
FIX:
Convert database from Version 8 to Version 9 by dump load instead of conv89,
Alternatively run the conversion utlitiy against a 'clean' Version 8 database (ie a valid restore prior to the corruption)
