SYMPTOM(s):
Can not select an item from a smart toolbar viewed as a browse
Smart Toolbar is in a Smart Data Viewer which is in a smart window
CAUSE:
The smart window does not have a smart toolbar and the record in the SDV can not be updated
FIX:
Place a smart toolbar to update the record and make the smart select available
