SYSTEM ERROR: CRC failure on backup header block (1058)
Restoring a database with prorest
CAUSE:
Backup was done on one specific version and tried to restore in another version
FIX:
We recommend and support a dump and load as the method for migrating between versions, we also support convXY (Ej: conv78 or conv89) as another mechanism to migrate the database.
Progress Software does not support backup and restore operations among diferent versions of our products even when sometimes this may work this is not a suggested operation.
