SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot connect to a database with ODBC remotely
Gives Merant licensing error.
CAUSE:
The current license being used is Provision or another development license, which includes a personal database. Personal database is for development and does not allow remote connections.
FIX:
Please contact Progress to obtain a Workgroup or Enterprise database license.
