SYMPTOM(s):
Trying to add the Viewer or Desktop OCX to a SmartWindow under 9.1C produces the following error:
CtrlFrame.DeskOCX Unable to create control. Error occurred while accessing component property/method: AddControl
Using the Actuate 6 Viewer and Desktop OCX
Trying to add the same Actuate 6 Viewer or Desktop OCX in version 8.3E works fine
Getting error 5890 if the code containing either the Viewer or Desktop OCX is written and compiled on a Windows 2000 or NT machine in version 9.1C and executed on a Windows XP machine
Error occurred while accessing component property/method: <property or method name>.
<COM message>
Error code: <Program name> (5890)
Error occurred while accessing component property/method: LoadControls.
Invalid access to memory location.
Error code: 0x800703e6 control_load wrx/actuate.wrx (5890)
Viewer and Desktop OCX were registered correctly on all machines
Errors are consistent on several machines
CAUSE:

FIX:
Apply the latest patch to 9.1C and 8.3E
