SYMPTOM(s):
WebClient: Couldn't Download Application Component - Error code is 2
"Couldn't download application component: dirname\<cab file name> from Web Server with URL: http://hostname/dirname Error code is 2
Application installation has been terminated."
Error code 2 means: The system cannot find the file specified.
CAUSE:
WebClient application's cab file was not copied in the right place, or codebase locator has been entered wrong.
FIX:
Check if the deployment files are properly copied to the web server directory and if the codebase locator was properly entered in the WebClient Application Assembler.
Manual copying application cab files from the deployment server, or downloading them with the web browser,
will reveal if there are problems with access permissions, or with the network access.
