SQL Explorer error messages lack diagnostic information
A SQL statement that has a syntax error is entered in SQL Explorer
The resulting error is not specific:
SQLState= n ErrorCode= n [JDBC Progress Driver]: Syntax error
(7587)
For more complicated queries which span more than a few lines, a message of "Syntax error" is not informative.
FIX:
Our Development Team is aware of the issue with the SQL error messages lacking diagnostic information. Currently, they are investigating the issue and possibly will implement changes in the future.
