SYMPTOM(s):
Error attempting to connect to Admin Server running on remote Linux box.
Unable to connect to Admin Server. Ensure Admin Server is running. (8336)
Proxy settings bypass local addresses and Linux machine.
CAUSE:
The wrong version of Java is installed.
FIX:
For Progress 9.1D on Linux 7.1 and earlier, Progress requires java 1.3.0_02.
Beginning with 9.1D on Linux 7.2, Progress also supports java 1.3.1.
