SYMPTOM(s):
WebSpeed broker does not register with the Name Server
ERROR: cannot start server. (8100)
ServerSocketsIPC read() IOException : java.io.EOFException : NULL (8127)
ServerIPCException in getServerIPCMsg() : ServerIPC error. (8119)
The initial number of agents to start is set very high - initialSrvrInstance=25
CAUSE:
The resources in the machine could not handle 25 agents in the startup phase.
FIX:
It is not necessary to set the initialSrvrInstance too high (2 to 5 depending on the hits). The broker will spawn new agents when needed, up to the value of 'maxSrvrInstances'.
Note: The number of agents 'maxSrvrInstances' is limited by the license.
