SCO UnixWare 7.1.1
SYMPTOM(s):
AppServer server processes don't always get assigned a PID.
CAUSE:
No Caldera PTF's or maintenance patches are applied to UnixWare 7.1.1.
FIX:
Apply Caldera UnixWare maintenance release M2.
To verify that the M2 maintenance release is installed, run the following UNIX command:
pkginfo|grep patch
The following "pkginfo" output will confirm whether the M2 patch has been applied:
patch uw711m2 UnixWare 7, Release 7.1.1 Maintenance Pack 2
