No, there isn't a GUI version of Progress for Linux nor is it possible to simply recompile Progress with WINE. Progress does not intend to develop a GUI for Linux. The income generated by selling a GUI for Linux will not cover the expense of development.
If you want to see a GUI for Linux from Progress then you need to contact your sales representative and give them detailed information on (1) why you want this product and (2) how many copies of such a product you would purchase if it were available. It is only through this means that Progress can truly determine the market need for such a product.
