FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
Client connection to database fails.
slib_env could not be found.
Progress shared library environment not set correctly.
Progress DLC environment variable may not be set correctly.
Set DLC variable to Progress installation directory.
Only Client Networking installed.
CAUSE:
$DLC/lib not added to OS library path by slib_env file
FIX:
1 - Download file from Progress website
Go to http://www.progress.com
Select Progress Company.
Select Products.
Select Downloads.
Select Versioninfo.dll
2 - 91D Versioninfo.dll and slib_env files for UNIX platforms.
3 - Download and extract the files on any UNIX platform.
4 - Select the slib_env file to the "Progress Install Directory"/bin that you created on your UNIX machine.
