FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1C
SYMPTOM(s):
Connection to two specific databases by a single client fails after an upgrade from 9.1A to 9.1C.
CAUSE:
The batch file used to start the databases has an incorrect service name for two of the databases.
FIX:
Change the service name used in the batch file to start the two problem databases.
It must agree with the name found in the services file on the client machines and on the server.
This is the service name used to make client/server connections to this database.
The actual port number can be used in place of the service name.
