SYMPTOM(s):

After down grading NT 4.0 Primary Domain Controller to a member server and then upgrading to Windows 2000 Server Progress AdminService for Progress 9.1D will not start.

Getting Access denied message when trying to start Progress AdminService.

Privileges for user are correct.

Security Permissions for Registry Key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/PSC/AdminService/9.1D
are correct.

When starting from command line getting error Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

CAUSE:

Problems were encountered when upgrading from NT Server to Windows 2000 Server and had to be manually corrected.

FIX:

Wipe Server clean and install Windows 2000 Server from scratch.
