Menu: Environment > Updates > Customize > Stage selection
On this screen you can customize the stages to be executed in the Update Console. In the list you see only the stages that belong to the selected update.
You can indicate which stages listed below will be executed in this update:
- Settings verification: validate whether the database dictionary connected to the console checks with the control files of the conversion/update package. If an error occurs at this point, you need to compare the settings of the table with the settings of the directory files '...\pacote-atualizacao\cax\'
- Dictionary preparation: once you fix the data dictionaries, if an error occurs, the system creates a log file with the problem found.
Important: if you have already executed this stage at some point, you cannot execute it again, except when the database backup returns to repeat the conversion/update process.
- Data update: - run the adjustment programs in the databases to correct records. In case of divergence, the system creates a log file with the problem found. Then, you must open a ticket for the module in charge of the table to aid correction, with the log file created by the console.
- Dictionary correction: once you adjust the data dictionaries, in case of error, the system creates a log file with the problem found.
Important: if you have already executed this stage at some point, you cannot execute it again, except when the database backup returns to repeat the conversion/update process.
- Programs and environment: updates Progress and JAVA programs, documentation and JBOSS binaries.
Requirements:
JBOSS instance stopped during the update.
40Gb free space in the JBOSS instance directory.
Run the console with one user with permission to save in the application server directory.
To locally have the update packages found in the portal.
If you run it at some point, you cannot run it again, except when the JBOSS instance backup returns.
The following stages are used in the legacy upgrade process for Datasul 12, so it appears as disabled:
- Execution of assumptions: valid only for the Concept Unification package (cutoff period and history adjustment).
- Data verification: validate table records. In case of divergence, the system creates a log file with the problem found. Then, you must open a ticket for the module in charge of the table to aid correction, with the log file created by the console.
Check or uncheck options to execute a certain stage. Then click 'Save and Return'.
