Menu: Environment > Instance
The console names the default instance as 'Default'. The console updates one instance at a time if there is no change in the 'Instances' screen.
You only have to enter the 'Instances' screen and register instances other than the Default if your environment, due to some feature, requires defining more than one JBoss instance for Production or Test environment.
Production and Test instances are not registered in this screen.
Register more than one JBoss instance for the Production environment. For the Test environment as well, if necessary.
Usually this model is required when there is a large number of users, where more servers are required running JBoss to support product execution. Or, if you chose some JBoss cluster setting.
