Menu: Environment > 4GL Database Access
On this screen you can indicate the 4GL connections to the database of the environment.
1. Name of connection: Default, Verification, Settings, Update.
2. Company: lists companies registered for this environment.
3. Column 'Database' lists unified databases and next to them are the connection parameters. When you select the unified database you see the 'Logical name', the 'Connection parameters' and the 'Alias' belonging to the selected database.
To edit the alias, click 'Edit' and select one of the following options:
a. Manually edit the alias corresponding to the selected database and company;
b. Use 'Import .pf' to import the 4GL connection data to the databases through PF files and Alias. When you click the button, select the company, indicating the PF file (.pf) and the Alias source file.
c. Or use option Alias Configuration.
