FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
Errors when starting a Progress database from ProControl
DBName ERROR: Invalid physical database name
The working directory is a valid windows local directory
Database can start from command line using
proserve DBName
CAUSE:
The physical database name is not provided from procontrol configuration
FIX:
Provide physical database name in procontrol.
In addition to this, you can also:
A) Move the database to a new location and create a new entry
within the ProControl "Service Details" window for the database.
(NOTE: This suggestion may ONLY work for a single-volume database.)
and
B) Change ProControl to run under one of your existing user accounts
instead of the System Account.
