INDEXED-REPOSITION won`t work on any pre-7.3A server - nlm
INDEXED-REPOSITION, a clause on the OPEN QUERY statement will be
ignored if the server is pre-V7.3A. This is a feature that was
introduced in 7.3A.
Suggest to customers that they read about the general limitations of
INDEXED-REPOSITION under the OPEN QUERY statement, Version 7.3A
Language Reference, Vol 2.
The way you can tell if the INDEXED-REPOSITION clause is affecting
the query is that the "thumb" of the scroll-bar gets "stuck" in the
middle. If the clause has been ignored, the "thumb" is in its usual
position at the bottom of the scroll-bar.
