SYMPTOM(s):

Cannot Find Lock (.lk) file. See EVENT VIEWER. (5780) when starting database from ProControl
SYSTEM ERROR: Invalid blocksize 20992 in database <dbname>. (4521) seen in Event Viewer when starting database from ProControl
SYSTEM ERROR: Invalid blocksize 0 in database <dbname>. (4521) when starting from a command line on the server
CHANGE:
Database was restored from a CD
CAUSE:
The database backup had failed. Viewing the <dbname>.db file revealed that all values (apart from 4 bytes) had been set to zero.
FIX:
After burning the database onto CD, ensure the backup is valid before deleting the 'live' database
