Error 276 when trying to connect from Report Builder to a database broker.
** The database <file-name> is in use in multi-user mode. (276)
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x

CAUSE:
When connecting to a database which is already started, the "multi user" option has to be selected.
FIX:
From Report Builder
-Click Report
-Select Database Connection
-Click the 'options' button
-check the Multiple users Option
-select a Data Base
-Click OK
