SYMPTOM(s):
On-line backup fails with error
User killed all _mprshut processes
On-line backups started via scripts
An on-line backup is already active. (1550)
CAUSE:
Backup stopped before completion when the user killed the _mprshut process. Master block contains flag for incomplete backup. When Probkup is run with the online parameter, _mprshut is called.
FIX:
Bring database down and run off-line backup to reset the database's master block backup flag.
