GOAL:
How can I make a copy of a Progress/400 DataServer live environment when the DataServer uses a separate library for its data files?
FACT(s) (Environment):
OS/400 V5R1
Progress/400 DataServer
FIX:
A copy can be performed in two ways:
1. Use DUPPRODB to copy the existing DataServer and data files to a separate DataServer. The new DataServer will have its own data files totally separate from the original.
2. Use DUPPRODB to create a new empty DataServer and then use CHGPRODCT to include the existing data files into the new DataServer schema. In this environment both the OLD and NEW DataServers will be using the same existing data files.
