SYMPTOM(s):
Database will not start in progress explorer
Proserve command successfully starts database.
Database resides on a Windows 2000 share.
The Windows 2000 share that the database resides on is local to the machine.
CAUSE:
Permissions are limited on the share. The user who logs into progress explorer did not have full permissions on the share.
FIX:
Check to ensure that the user who logs into Progress Explorer has read write and execute permissions on the share.
