No suitable driver error during JDBC connection
SQL-92 Connection Error: No Suitable Driver.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x
CAUSE:
There are no Progress products installed on the machine with SQL-92 client connection capabilities.
FIX:
In order to connect to a Progress database using SQL-92 interface, it is required to have installed on the machine a Progress product with SQL-92 connection capabilities.
i.e. Some of the Progress products that offer SQL-92 client capabilities:
. SQL-92 Client Access
. Client Networking
. ProVISION
Please be aware that SQL-92 client capability is optional in most of the products and will not be included in the installation unless a complete installation is selected or the component is selected under custom installation.
