SYMPTOM(s):
Performance issue with an index build using the all parameter.
Slow with regard to index build on Progress 8.3C.
Running proutil dbname -C idxbuild all -TM 32 -TB 24 -t -$TMPDIR on 85GB database took 7 days and 22 hrs.
Trying many different settings in the proutil command, including the use of -B, makes no significant difference in the time to complete the idxbuild.

CAUSE:
Bug# 20020206-028.
FIX:
Upgrade to Progress 9.1D.
