LAST-EVENT handle not updated with APPLY event to widget
The LAST-EVENT handle does not get updated when a programmer uses the
APPLY statement to apply an event to a widget.
For example, the following statement does not update LAST-EVENT:
APPLY "CHOOSE" TO button-1 IN FRAME frame-a.
If a user actively chooses button-1 with the mouse, however, the
LAST-EVENT handle *is* updated.
This is not a bug, but a feature that was necessary for backward
compatibility to Version 6.
