Version 7 - Protermcap ANSIC entry is incorrect
Under Version 7 prior to version 7.3B, the protermcap entry for
ansic is incorrect. If your TERM environment variable is set to
ansic and you try to start a Progress session, you will see the
following errors:
Unable to use your terminal. Check your PROTERMCAP file. (443)
** The protermcap file must contain :cd. (117)
** The protermcap file must contain :ce. (117)
** The protermcap file must contain :cl. (117)
** The protermcap file must contain :cm. (117)
** The protermcap file must contain :up. (117)
** Protermcap file contains :us, but must also have :ue. (118)
There is a new protermcap file called protermcap.v7.
Please download the new file to address the problem.
NOTE: Since V7 Products were retired on 1-1-2001, this patch is no longer available on the Progress website.
