Device errors on PROBKUP and PROREST
900919-mlb01Problem with PROBKUP and PROREST on v6.2A+.
If you type in the wrong device name for either
of these utilities you get an error, no problem.
The fun begins when, as anyone would expect, you
enter a new (correct) device name. You get the
following:
unable to access <rightdevicename> error 65535
<rightdevicename> error 0
open of <wrongdevicename> failed error 6
<wrongdevicename> error 0
Either utility tries the correct device and fails
and then retries the wrong device and fails again.
To rectify the situation you must cancel the
original command and start again with the correct
device.
