HLI using COBOL available for DOS, Sys V Unix, CTOS w/ V.6
900112-sec01HLI using Cobol: You will be able to work with cobol under version 6
of progress. You include in your cobol source code EMBEDDED SQL calls
that would open a progress database and retrive the data into the
program. It would be up to the developer to handle the screen
interfacing and screen i/o. This would be handled through the
developers cobol program.
The cobol compiler we use is MICRO FOCUS.
The operating systems we will support: DOS, UNIX 386 system 5, BTOS
