This solution lists the top questions you should have answers
for when you call Progress Technical Support for problems with
the C-ISAM Gateway.
EXPLANATION:
- What version of Progress is being used?
C-ISAM Gateway is available with Version 6.2K of Progress
and later.
- Has the PROLOAD environment variable been set properly?
PROLOAD is the directory where PROBUILD is installed. By
default, it is the dlcload directory.
- Has the PROCFG environment variable been set properly?
It must point to the PROGRESS.CFG for the C-ISAM Gateway
product.
- Was the PROBUILD successful?
Did you:
- Execute the buildenv script?
It is found in the dlcload/eucapp directory.
- Run PROBUILD and select the C-ISAM product?
The C-ISAM Gateway must be selected with Progress
4GL, Query or Run-Time Product List, or the C-ISAM
Server product, etc.
