Toggle box custom labels are lost when file is saved.
DESC: LOOSE CUSTOMER LABELS WITH TOGGLE BOX
TAGS:
If you create a toggle-box widget with the UIB and attach it to a database
field anduse a customer label, the custom label is NOT saved to the .w when
the file is saved and the default label for the field from the dictionary
is used.
To duplicate, in the UIB connect to the sports database.
- create a new window using defaults
- create a toggle-box widget
- on the property sheet for the toggle-box you just created click on the
Database fields button and select Backorder from the Order-Line file.
- on the Dictionary Defaults dialog uncheck the Label toggle-box.
- Change the Label ("Back Order") to something else (I used "Order
Delayed?") and choose the OK button (or press F2 of course)
- Save the file.
- Close the file
- reopen thie file you just saved.
- the label on the toggle-box will be "Back Order."
