Install Error 601 V7 Windows " Insufficient Memory " bug
During v7 Install, the following error may appear:
Installation Error 601 : Insufficient memory available for allocation.
This is a bugus error and is caused if you have a Windows Group within
program manager that is empty (ie. startup group is often emtpy).
To get around this error, either delete the group that is empty or
add an item to that group so it is not empty.
This bug ( 94-07-22-057 ) will be addressed in future releases.
