TOWER 32/200 - VERSION 5
891031-SLK01TOWER 32/200 - VERSION 5
It seems that our current version 5 releases (5.2A and 5.2D) do not
work multi-user on the Tower 32/200 machine. Some of the errors that
have been seen when bringing up a server are: memory violation (49),
System Error: Invalid address to attach the shared memory segment
(1173), and System Error: Shared memory does not have the correct
MAGIC number (1179). None of the patches/start-up parameters that we
document in the release notes have been able to solve this problem. At
this time, we have stopped shipping Version 5 for the Tower 32/200.
We are currently porting to the Tower 32/700 which is confirmed to be
binary compatible with the 32/200 machine. When this is complete, we
will then begin shipping Tower 32/200 again (subject to change without
notice).
