INTRODUCTION:

Flow control and possibly other operating system related problems on
the DG AViiON.

POSSIBLE CAUSE OF ERROR:
========================
O/S is not fully compatible with the PROGRESS version shipped.
DG UX was thought to be fully 88open compliant and the OPUS
88open port was used to run on this machine.
The problems that customers started having with this port led to
the discovery that DG UX is not 88open compliant, as previously
thought. Therefore, PROGRESS has developed a new port on the DG
itself under DG UX version 4.3 which is called 5.2I26.

For DG UX version 4.1 use PROGRESS V5.2D.
For DG UX version 4.2 use PROGRESS V5.2I.
