SGI 6.2F08 Pre-Release: Multi-Server Environment note

Please note for any pre-releases that are sent out for this machine
that the current pre-release product has a bug where the clients
have to connect to the databases in the same order as the servers
were brought up for them. If they don't there are all kinds of
implications with attaching to the right shared memory segment
for locking, shutting down the databases, etc. The bug is due
to the fact that we used the SGI test&set (called "arena"). Porting
is looking into using system semaphores as an alternative for
the commercial release, but I just wanted to let you know in case
anyone decides to send what is currently on the machine out to
a customer.
