7. Output Device Types


7.3. "thru" = THROUGH a UNIX or OS/2 spooler or filter

"thru" is only available for UNIX and OS/2. The device name as
supplied by the user is used exactly as it would be from the
command
line. For example, if you would type "cat my-report | lpr -Plw",
then use "lpr -Plw" as the device-name. If you would use "lp -s
-dlabel2 <report-x", then use "lp -s -dlabel2" as the device-name.
For reports, the report-page-size is set on the Settings->Spacing
screen.

PAGED PAGE-SIZE VALUE(report-page-size) NO-ECHO.

For labels and exports:

OUTPUT THROUGH VALUE(device-name) PAGE-SIZE 0 NO-ECHO.
