'Load is complete' msg too early; not really done OK 6.2g
901010-sal01When loading large amounts of df file structures (I tested with 200)
the message will appear that the load is complete when the transaction
is still actively processing. It can appear that the system is hanging
when actually the load is still processing. Should you control out or
exit without letting the transaction complete the load will be backed
out. It can take a substanial amount of time (10 minutes for 200 file
structures) to finish. This occurs in Version 6.2A and above and
has been reported as a bug (that the message comes out too soon
that the procedure is complete).
This was reported under bug #90-10-10-02; it is fixed in 6.2g and
above.
