Accessing BTOS or CTOS from within PROGRESS

910121-sal01In BTOS/CTOS:

When a user needs to access BTOS/CTOS from within PROGRESS, the
user must have context manager loaded. If when trying to access
the operating system, BTOS/CTOS the user receives error 12085, they
must clear one of the function key assignments in the cmconfig.sys
file.

More detailed info:
The cmconfig.sys file is where a user sets up what applications or
memory partitions they can use within context manager. A function key
can be assigned to each item. When progress chains to BTOS or CTOS,
it links up with context manager to do so. The partition created for
this is assigned the first available (un-specified in the cmconfig.sys
file) function key. If a key is not free, progress cannot connect to
context manager. More detailed info on the context manager can be
found in the BTOS/CTOS Context Manager Guide.
